I picked up some take out from Choo Choo today and I was thinking to myself, how I haven't sat down here and ate for a while. Got me thinking about the times when we would have our whole group of friends and just sit and eat at Choo Choo, Sang Kee, or in Chinatown in general after the gym, after class, or playing after the summer league games. Remembering back from the times of the birthday parties every 2 weeks and such. The good olde days and now it seems like it's sooo much different. Growing up has too much to worry about even though i've been working for a long time. Now's it's just different because everyone else is at that point of having to deal with post college.

Yesterday I found a girl from my elementary school who was very smart on facebook. She was very quiet, however she was the top of my class and then went on to be the top of the class in Central High for that year. This girl later went to Princeton and became a biomedical researcher, studying cancer cells and HIV to make the world a better place. She's also going for her medical board exams in Cali. I am very happy for her for really making something for herself and then I reflected on myself and thought i'm just a tax accountant and that i'm only in it for the money. Just kinda makes me feel down that I am not one of those people that can make a huge difference in this world at least to the extent of what she's doing.
